Jake has the unique ability to work with customers in developing a floor plan to meet their specific needs and lifestyle. It is a process that requires patience, construction knowledge, and the ability to listen to the customer and understand their needs and desires. “My Goal is to provide each homebuyer with a quality home that will last for generations and will have excellent value today and in the future. We had a homebuyer write the following: “I love my house! I thank you for helping to make building as worry free as building could be. Your caring and concern are much appreciated.” Our reputation for quality homes is reflected in the employees and skilled people we use.

Ivey as always been a strong supporter of the community, the building industry, and his church. During 2008 he built a “Dream Home” for the Builders Association of Metro Augusta. This custom home was visited by over 3,500 people and a portion of the proceeds went to benefit the Family Y. He was selected as 2008 Builder of the Year by the Association. Columbia County Chamber of Commerce named Ivey its Small Business Person of the Year for 2003.

Jake partnered with sons Mark and Matt in the formation of Ivey Residential LLC. in 2004. Each year they honor and thank their employees, subcontractors, suppliers, and real estate and banking professionals with a “fish fry” luncheon. The 2008 event honored more than 300 people.
